Shadow People, Watchers & Zozo

Perhaps you have seen something tall, dark and hooded from the corner of your eye. It may have been watching you. You may have caught a glimpse of it directly and seen the glowing red eyes.

If you have ever experienced the shadow people before, you know that they watch but never interact. Why is this? You may have also noticed that they show up during times of unrest in your life or even alongside the presence of something malevolent. But are they the cause, or merely a symptom?

There’s a lot of theory surrounding them and not a lot of hard facts, but here are some theories:

  1. They’re the Watchers of the Bible… because all they do is “watch”
  2. They’re the shadows of people who have passed away and are just a bit lost
  3. They’re negative inter-dimensional entities who lurk in the shadows
  4. They’re demonic, specifically a demon known as “Zozo” who is often invoked through a Ouija board.
  5. They’re just curious entities and basically harmless.

The only thing that really matters is how they make you feel.

First of all, if you have any entity in your presence you can always double check if they’re good or not by asking yourself how they make you feel. You do not have to know what it is or justify your intuition in any way. If an entity makes you uneasy, you have the right to order them to go and they must obey. You can invoke the angels or any higher power you genuinely believe in and firmly state that they must leave. As long as you remember that, they might be able to scare the shit out of you, but they cannot harm you.

So what is my experience with these dudes?

My ex-husband grew up in a house which I later rented from his parents (long story, we weren’t dating at the time). When I lived there with housemates, I had the same room that my Ex had grown up in. Something “lived” in that room (not sure if it can be called living) and I would feel it’s presence up in the far corner opposite the window and away from the door. At the same time, I also felt a presence outside the window and also in the bar area on the other side of the bedroom wall. It was creepy as fuck and I only stayed there for about 4 months before finding another place.

One night I was lying in bed with the lights on waiting for my then-boyfriend (different guy) to finish brushing his teeth when I felt something land on my foot at the end of the bed. It was so similar to my cat leaping up that when I looked, I expected to see him sitting there. Instead, there was nothing but an indent in the quilt.

A few nights later, my boyfriend was lying in bed with the lights on waiting for me to brush my teeth and had the same experience. He told me about his and then I told him about mine. Neither of us slept much that night.

Years later, talking to my ex-husband about his childhood home, I asked if it had been haunted. He went a little pale when I said that I had slept in the same room as him and felt a presence in those specific areas of the house. He described trying to sleep as a kid and watching something move up near the ceiling of that corner and not daring to take his eyes off it. He also told me about hearing marching and whispering late one night in the bar area at the back of the house (it shares a wall with the bedroom).

What surprised me the most was when he told me about playing in the back yard one day in broad daylight and coming around the corner to see a tall, dark, hooded figure with glowing red eyes standing outside of his bedroom window. In an instant it was gone, but that memory is seared into his mind.

In a similar way, when we bought our house most of the place was really positive, bright and happy, but the converted garage space was uncomfortable. We shared the house with some friends for the first year to help out with the mortgage and mostly lived there without incident of the supernatural kind.

One quiet sunny day I was sitting in the converted garage which we had set up as home office space, no one else at home except me. Out of nowhere someone signed right next to my left ear. I shot up out of my chair and stormed around the house looking for the asshole who had broken into my house, but I was completely alone. There wasn’t even any neighbors in the vicinity who I may have heard. At that point I freaked out and wouldn’t go back into the office until someone else was at home.

A few weeks later we all woke up around three in the morning because the TV was suddenly blasting at full volume in the living room. We got up, turned it off (which was hard because the remote had terrible range and we usually had to stand in front of the TV and point directly at the sensor to make it work). Everyone went back to bed and somewhat wrote it off as the cat stepping on the buttons. The next day we talked it over, confused as to how the cat could get the remote to work so easily when it took so much effort for us to turn the TV on, let alone raise the volume to maximum. My female housemate then said that she had heard someone sigh in the office when she was at home alone.

After the friends had moved out, we lived without incident for a while, although I still didn’t like using the office without my husband at home. He worked crazy long hours so I would often be home alone in the evenings and started noticing a tall, dark, hooded figure from the corner of my eye as I watched TV. It would stand in front of the doorway to our converted garage and watch me.

As if that wasn’t enough to put me on edge, I would sometimes come home after dark and see that the porch light (which I had been almost certain I turned on before I left) was switched off. My husband always left for work before me and got home a lot later so it wasn’t him (I made sure by asking) and no one else had keys to the house. Plus, why would anyone break into our house without a trace and switch off one light? It was very strange so I started taking note of turning it on before I left, checking that the light was working and then locking up behind me. After a week of double checking, sure enough I came home to that one light switched off. I stood on the driveway crying for about 5 minutes before I plucked up the courage to go inside my house.

The light incident repeated itself a few times.

The final straw was one morning I woke up when my ex-husband left for work and was trying to go back to sleep when I was thoroughly jolted awake again by someone yelling my name from the doorway… next to the light switch for the front porch.

As I had done before, I leapt up and went searching my house for any kind of intruder. As usual, there was no one there, and what’s more the voice was not unfamiliar to me; it was my mother’s voice. This thing could mimic real people.

After that I worked on cleansing the house and noticed a real shift in the energy (Cleansing Ritual here). I stopped being watched, the electronics were no longer being messed with, and I heard no more whispers or shouts from disembodied sources.

The biggest question is why was the Shadow being in our house in the first place?

Unfortunately that is a question I don’t have the answer to. There is nothing in the physical histories of either house to suggest why they would be haunted. They were both built in the 1980’s and occupied by relatively normal people with no incident of death on record.

What I do know from learning about my own psychic abilities and how this stuff works, is that the first house almost certainly has a portal in it. The haunted areas of the house are all clustered together in a distinct circle while the rest of the property has no such trouble.

I knew the people who rented the place after me and eventually I asked if they thought the house was haunted. The dad admitted that his son, who has the same bedroom I was in, has seen a one-eyed man in his room among other strange occurrences.

As for the house I bought with my ex, that also seemed to be localised at first around a particular doorway, but as the entity fed on my fear and grew stronger it spread to other areas of the house and became more active.

In terms of how other people have encountered them, I have heard that they can come through a Ouija board and will often identify themselves as either “zozo” or “mama” which are letters positioned at the opposite ends of the letting lines to one another. Basically, forming those names opens a portal through the lens of the planchette which they can use to cross over.

However they manage to cross over, they need some kind of portal to be opened by the living and this can happen in a variety of ways (check out the video above on how portals work).

This leads me to how I understand these entities.

In appearance they’re almost like an absence of light. They look like black static, or like a black hole in the shape of a man. This ties in with how I have experienced their energy; it sucks the life and joy out of you. They are feeding on the living and their favourite food is fear and misery.

I would never encourage anyone to interact with them under any circumstances.

If you have a problem with these entities, you can enlist the help of friends who believe you (don’t waste your time with people who don’t, they’ll just make you feel crazy and hopeless) or you can find a local medium service. The link to my cleansing ritual is above if you want to use it and you can also contact me through the Contact or Services sections of this site.

Self Care Ritual

If you start a spiritual path, chances are you will need to start practicing self-care first. Everyone needs to do it, but often empaths and people who’re hyper-aware of the spirit world need to do it a lot more and to a higher degree than most.

The number one rule is self-care before craft. Take care of yourself, and other practices will flow better and you’ll have better boundaries against any kind of attack.

Routine is also important. For one thing, following the lunar phases will enhance any effects, but even just remembering to do it on the regular is vital to your spiritual, mental and physical well-being.

To follow the lunar cycle, start at the New Moon which will allow you to set your intentions and start afresh, then during the Waxing Moon you can develop your learning and creativity. At the Full Moon, cast your protection and reap your harvest of intentions and on the waning moon complete your cleansing, open up and let go of things which do not serve your life and intentions.

Self Care Ritual

Self-Care can be sorted into three main areas: Body, Mind and Spirit. How you care for those three things can often overlap. Here are a few suggestions:

There are recommendations for how many hours we need, but the important thing with sleep is to get enough in order to feel refreshed when you wake up.

Do your eyes still look blood-shot when you get up in the morning? That’s probably because the blood was still in the process of repairing your eyeballs when you so rudely interrupted it from its job by waking up.

Do you spend most of your day in front of a screen and then all of your leisure time as well? Do you take a tablet or smartphone to bed and continue to play games or watch steaming TV until late at night? You need to put away the technology and spend more time in reality. Go for a walk in the evening, read a book, talk to your family, play with your pets, maybe even get some chores done or just have a bubble-bath.

If you still do everything right in order to get to sleep, try talking it over with your doctor, or try upping the ante with things like herbal teas or aromatherapy. Drinking a cup of chamomile tea and then massaging some oil infused with lavender and valerian across your brow and down your cheek bones and jaw can help to relax before bed.

After all of that, if you’re still struggling to feel refreshed after sleep, you may need to address diet and in particular any stimulants like caffeine, alcohol or nicotine which may be causing problems.

If none of those are an issue, you need to face some emotional issues which are causing underlying stress and keeping you on edge. Counselling may help, or read on for mindfulness tips.

Getting regular gentle exercise has proven to help with depression and anxiety. Walking is a good start, especially out in nature where you can enjoy trees, flowers and wild animals. Always make sure that you’re in a safe environment, or walking with friends.

Other forms of exercise can be great for both your mind and body. Practices such as Tai Chi and Yoga are renowned for their therapeutic benefits and can also help you connect to others socially.

A good diet will keep your gut-brain happy which means it’ll stop bugging your head-brain with unnecessary complaints. Also, it will help if you can eliminate excessive stimulants such as sugar, caffeine, alcohol and refined carbohydrates.

It may be a good idea to also check if you have any intolerance to certain foods or even allergies. The doctor can help with that, or you may want to try an exclusion diet such as FODMAP for the short term and then re-introduce foods to find out if any don’t agree with you.

Focus on adding as much vegetable matter to your diet and variety to vegetables as possible. Your body needs a range of nutrients in order to function well so variety is the key to this as well as freshness of the produce. Go organic if you can.

When I say cleansing, I’m talking about having a luxurious soak in the bath tub, or visiting a day spa for a treat, or giving yourself a facial with some mud and scrubs.

Being physically clean is helpful for your mind as well as your body. It can produce a meditative state, as well as treat the body as sacred (which it is) and valuable (which it is).

Sorting out, maintaining, cutting ties or clearing the air with your relationships is vital for self-care. You need to nurture the relationships which matter to you and the ones that enrich your life. You also need to limit or cut relationships which drain you or are toxic for your state of mind.

All the people in your life should treat you with care and respect, and you should be treating them the same way. If this isn’t happening, you need to examine why and try to repair the relationship. If it cannot be repaired, or the other person won’t meet you halfway, consider cutting the relationship out of your life.

Mindfulness / Meditation

The mind and the soul need to re-connect occasionally and practicing mindfulness or meditation is the best way of making that happen.

Mindfulness can be as simple as focusing on the flight of a bird through some trees or noticing the ripples on a pond. Being present in the here and now is great for grounding yourself, especially if you tend to think about the esoteric a great deal.

Reconciling the mind, body and soul by sitting quietly and focusing on your breath will help to calm everything down. One of the nicest things is to find a peaceful spot in some sunshine and sit with your eyes closed, noticing how you rib cage expands and contracts with each breath. Once you have brought your breathing and heart rate to a synchronous level, gently open your eyes and watch the world for a few moments before getting up and moving about again.

Remember, self-care takes time and attention. Make sure to clear some space in your life for a regular practice.

Cleansing Ritual

So you’ve come to a cross-roads in life. Embrace the spiritual, or live in fear of it. Take life by the horns, or become it’s bitch.

If you’re living with a negative or dark entity, there are ways to push them out of your space and claim it back like a boss. Sometimes you can research what may have happened in the house and find ways to bring about resolution and healing from it, but sometimes it doesn’t matter what the history is, you just need to clear the energy.

This is a very general outline of a ritual, which may need altering for specific circumstances. If you feel out of your depth at all, or need moral support, don’t hesitate to employ the services of a spiritual guide of your choice such as a priest or medium. Choose these people carefully since sometimes they can stir up more trouble than they solve.

As with most rituals, there is safety in numbers so gather as many supportive friends and family as you can to help out. They don’t need to be told the whole story if you think they may be skeptical. There’s nothing more undermining than a skeptic so leave out negative people or they’ll make it worse. You can just tell people that you want to brighten up your home and change the feel of the place.

You may be in a situation where the people you live with are toxic to the situation. At that point you need to evaluate if you should be living with these people at all. That choice is yours and I cannot tell you if it’ll make your life better or not, but generally it sucks in the short term and then improves the long term exponentially.

If you feel up to it and can gather support, this is the basic format of a cleansing:

Phase 1: Preparation

Supply List

Smudging sage (can be either a tied bundle or loose leaf put into a heat-proof bowl)

Long-handled lighter

Musical Playlist of happy / upbeat tunes and speakers to play through.

Cleaning supplies, especially environmentally friendly options.

Gardening equipment

A trailer, utility vehicle, or hired skip bin to take away rubbish

Clean, comfortable and bright clothes.

Personal cleansers, like bath-bombs or luxurious scrubs

Pre-Ritual Preparation

Start by cleansing yourself. This may include having a haircut, manicure and facial or simply taking a long bath and washing your hair. Make sure everything is physically in order; hair, nails, skin, teeth.

You may also choose to fast in some way beforehand, but don’t eat nothing. It might be as simple as staying alcohol-free for a week beforehand or giving up meat and animal products. I like to limit what I drink to green tea and filtered water, then only eat simple vegetarian meals and soups.

Phase 2: Working Bee

The working bee is vital for cleansing. You need to gut your house, sort through all of your stuff and either throw away, give away or sell items which you don’t use and which may be causing clutter. Stuffocation is a major issue in our consumerist society and things don’t really bring us much genuine joy.

Make sure to put your playlist on loudly enough to fill the house but not piss-off the neighbors. Sing and dance around the house, encouraging anyone helping you to join in and fill the house with song, chatter and laughter.

Once you have cleared out the stuff, it’s time to clean the house itself. Hire a carpet cleaner, wash the windows inside and outside, get someone to prune the garden and take away the dead branches. Wash the walls, clean ceiling fans and lights, replace bulbs, scrub the tiles in your bathroom and kitchen. Disinfect the toilet, wash and dry all of your laundry and then sort and fold all items in your linen cupboard and closet. Clean the inside of your pantry and throw out old food. Polish your glasses and cutlery.

Open up the house to fresh air, bring down curtains or blinds and clean them. If your house is a bit dark, turn on all the lights and maybe re-think the curtains you have up since they may be causing the gloom inside.

Phase 3: The Ritual

Once the house has been cleansed, you can perform the smudging ritual. It should be done during daylight hours, never at night.

Gather everyone you trust and know will support you into a circle in the main living room and ask them to read this prayer with you:

We bless this house and all of it’s rightful inhabitants.

We bathe it in the light of love and joy.

All who live here are under the protection of the Great Spirit and Source of Pure Light

Darkness has no place here.

This is not a sanctuary for misery.

With this smoke (whoever has the sage can proceed to light it) we drive out all which holds us back in fear

We face our future with determination and resolve.

We shine a bright light into dark corners.

We treat one another with care and love.

This place is claimed as Holy.

This place is claimed as ours.

This place is given over to the light.

Awen, awen, awen. (pronounced ah-oo-en)

At this point you should start playing a song which you think is appropriate for the situation. A portable bluetooth speaker is a great option.

As a group you then move from room to room, playing the music (hopefully singing along as well) and wafting the smoke from the sage into all the corners of each room. Do this all through the house three times and then move outside and walk around it in a circle clockwise three times.

At the end of the ritual you should all hug and express gratitude for one another and then enjoy a good meal together. The meal marks the end of any fasting and a new beginning.

Phase 4: Upkeep

Once all of the cleansing and ritual has taken place, you will need to keep up the energy shift for at least the next month.

Keep the house clean. Keep it light, bright and full of fresh air.

Work on your surrounding relationships: cut ties with negative people and spend time doing enjoyable things with the people who make you happy.

Avoid anything depressing like sad music, scary movies, or drama TV. Watch comedy, laugh a lot, and sing out loud in your house.

Most importantly, don’t be cowed inside your own home. Claim the space back, occupy it as fully and noisily as you can and drive out anything which doesn’t belong.

Pre-Cognitive Abilities

Have you ever known something with absolute certainty, but it is impossible to know because it hasn’t happened yet?

I once had lunch with my uncle at a local pub where there’s a tradition of raffling a tray of fresh meats for people to take home. My uncle bought everyone a ticket in the raffle, handed them out and then looked at his own ticket.

“Oh! I have the winning ticket,” he said quietly.

I looked over at his ticket and thought; shit, he does too.

My uncle saw me look deflated and said that regardless of who wins, he would give me the meat tray since he didn’t live locally. I cheered up, partly because he would let me have it and partly because it hadn’t been drawn yet so he might not have the winning ticket after all. The men hadn’t even finished selling tickets at that point. I reasoned it away, but knew with no small amount of certainty that he was right.

He was right. It was the winning ticket. I had enough meat to last me two weeks.

All human beings have the ability to know future events and pathways laid out before them, but most people will dismiss this as their imagination or possibly just logic depending on the situation. Sometimes it is. The only way you ever find out is over time when things come to pass.

So is having this ability useful in any way?

Unfortunately the answer is: not really. If you try and tell others what you know and can’t back it up with evidence they’ll think you’re either crazy or lying. At any rate they won’t believe you or will struggle to believe you.

The problem is faith. No one has faith anymore in the existence of knowing things outside of time and space. We’ve put too much stock in the scientific and taken it away from the esoteric.

The only way that anyone believes you if you tell them something about the future is if they’re paying you for psychic services. Only problem is, that isn’t how the gift of pre-sight works. You’re unlikely to get good information from a fortune teller, even a good one.

Not only is pre-cognition generally given as flashes from the blue, it also can’t be forced without some kind of catalyst.

Generally speaking, pre-cognition is only available when you’re already presented with something, like a physical ticket. My uncle didn’t buy the ticket because he knew it would win, he bought the ticket and then recognised it for what it would become. He saw the path ahead only after he had set foot on it.

Finding illumination means taking the first step. Fate only favours the bold, not the indecisive and hesitant. Seeking the future because you’re afraid will yield poor results. You know when the path you’re on is not working and littered with blockages, just as you know when a path is so clear that you almost float through it like the prow of an icebreaker. The trick is to listen to that intuition and not waste too much time or resources on things and people which are a waste of energy.

Looking around for a second opinion just because you don’t want to face a harsh reality or deal with a painful and difficult situation means you’ll stay in that situation. Doing nothing is still making a choice and your life is the end result of your choices.

It’s time to rip off the band-aid.

Body Shaming

OK people, we need to talk.

First up, when did we start believing that having bones, muscles, skin, ligaments, vital organs and fat deposits warranted shaming?

A lot of people would say that religion is at the root of all this trouble, but I’m pretty sure religion is just a symptom rather than a cause of the disease. After all, religions would never have made much traction without some pervasive shame in the hearts of the people to latch onto.

As a species, human beings are hung up on the idea of perfection. We’re always in search of symmetry and geometry in everything from buildings and furniture to faces and bodies, but the world we live in isn’t like that. This is a messy place with messy beings and tonnes of anomalies. Just look at all the scientists trying to make sense of the universe and you have some idea of the insurmountable odds stacked against us achieving perfection any time soon.

What is perfection anyway? It varies depending on the person you’re asking so the idea of a universal perfect world is bull-shit and deep down we all know it.

Body-shaming, like all the other issues we have as a species such as addiction and senseless violence, is a symptom of shame. Where did the shame come from? Who told us that we needed to be more than what we already are in order to be worthy? Why did we believe them?

If you think about the human body in terms of what its function is, the shame doesn’t make any sense. The purpose of our physical bodies is to keep us alive in spite of insurmountable odds such as starvation, temperature fluctuations, wild beasts trying to kill us and ourselves making bad choices. Why would we punish it for doing it’s job?

Lets say someone eats so much food that they become morbidly obese and then they turn around and blame their body for making them do it. That’s not fair, what was it supposed to do? Throw up after everything it was forced to eat? Not metabolize excess sugar into fats stores in order to prevent damaging blood vessels? That wouldn’t make any sense.

What about a man telling a woman she should be ashamed of her breasts because they make men sexually aroused? Short of not having a torso, how is this within the realm of her control? If a man does not exercise self-control it wouldn’t matter if she wore a tent for the rest of her life. Notice how I said “does not” instead of “cannot” in term of self-control?

When did we stop being accountable for how we treat our own bodies and how we treat other people’s bodies?

If you believe in a God, then you must acknowledge that the physical body is a divine gift given to us for the sole purpose of experiencing a long and happy life. Treating it poorly is disrespecting the gift we have been given. Shaming it for doing it’s job is a dick-move. Murdering it, either slowly or quickly, is no better than kicking a dog or slapping a small child for being hungry.

As individuals and also as a collective we need to start exercising self-care or we will ultimately destroy ourselves. Self-care starts with returning to your own body a truth that it is as it is supposed to be, no less and no more. After that you can choose to do things which will benefit it such as feeding it the nutrients it needs, getting it some fresh air and gentle exercise, absorbing sunlight, reducing the exposure to chemicals and having enough sleep.

Punishing yourself does not lead to “perfection” any more than hitting your car with a tyre iron will make the engine run. It’s counter-productive and destructive.

Receiving Abundance

At the moment there’s a lot of buzz around “receiving abundance” but what does that actually mean and why do we care?

Not everyone dreams of being rich and famous, or having a boat or living in a mansion or wearing fancy clothes. Some people’s ideas of paradise are being debt-free, raising chickens and growing their own fruit and vegetables. So the real question is, how importance is abundance?

First of all, I’m going to give you a test.

Q1. Are you comfortable receiving compliments?

Q2. Are you happy to receive favours from other people without feeling like there are strings attached?

Q3. Are you comfortable receiving help from others?

If you answered no to all or even any of these questions then you have a problem with receiving full-stop.

Being receptive is not about being a schmuck, which some people have been taught to believe that it is. Being able to receive with grace, thanks, and without strings is one of the greatest challenges most people have to overcome in life.

Some people deliberately offer help in order to put pressure on others to give when they don’t want to in return. This is not giving in it’s true form and it’s a lie that any kind of obligation is tied to it. You are perfectly within your rights as a sovereign human being to either decline the gift in the first place or to accept it and then reject any pressure to reciprocate.

A lot of the time we’re taught that other people owe us something or that we owe other people something, simply by existing. The truth is; nobody owes anyone anything ever. Not your parents, not your children, not your spouse, not your co-workers and not your boss. The only time this doesn’t apply is if you explicitly agree to terms, such as in a contract. All other reciprocation is purely from the goodness of our hearts and in order to maintain society and community.

If you operate from the view point that nothing is owed, then receiving something is a beautiful and gracious thing done with love and giving something is a beautiful and gracious thing done with love. When you start looking at it from that perspective, the string are cut and the weight is lifted from your shoulders. Guilt and obligation fall away and a sense of gratitude takes their place.

From that point onwards, you can generate your own abundance: abundant joy, abundant love, abundant peace within yourself. This is the true meaning of receiving abundance.

The PreCognitive Heart

Did you know that your heart emits a bio-magnetic frequency which can be picked up by other living creature’s hearts and which also informs your brain about the world around you?

The term “having a heart-to-heart conversation” is as old as the hills but science has managed to prove its validity in recent years. However, it transcends human conversation and has more to do with emotional frequencies which can be picked not only by other humans but also by dogs, cats, horses and possibly plenty of other mammals which haven’t been tested yet.

A research institute called Heart Math have extensively researched the phenomenon and also developed a way of teaching people to change their own heart patterns into a healthier rhythm. A cohesive heart pattern is better for both mental and physical health overall because it manually reduces stress, which in turn reduces the stress responses your body undergoes on a daily basis.

One living creature’s emotional state can not only be picked up by others in the vicinity, it can also be replicated by them, a phenomenon termed synchronicity.

A group of people in a room will automatically synchronize with one another’s heart patterns, regardless of the external stimulus of the environment. In this situation majority tends to rule, however an individual can consciously change their heart rhythm and start a flow-on effect to the rest of the group.

All of this is pretty intriguing in and of itself, but the really surprising finding to come out of the test subjects is the discovery of pre-stimulus response in the heart’s rhythm. What is a pre-stimulus response? Basically it’s the heart processing information ahead of time and space and adjusting it’s rhythm accordingly.

This figure from the Heart Math research blog above is a graph displaying the heart rhythms of test subjects before, during and after seeing randomized computer-generated images of either a pleasant or unpleasant nature. At 4.8 seconds before the image appears, the subject’s heart rhythm changes briefly to the pattern it is about to respond with. This means that the heart knows 4.8 seconds ahead of time, what it is about to experience.

The research has invariably proved that the human heart is pre-cognitive and can accurately predict what is about to happen before it happens. How the heart accesses information outside of the normal constraints of time and space is as yet unknown. The working theory of Heart Math is that the electro-magnetic fields emitted by all living matter is part of a universal consciousness where the rules of physics don’t apply and we can tap into a knowledge source outside of time and space.

This is some pretty heavy stuff for science to be exploring and no doubt will push the boundaries of what people can and can’t accept about reality as we know it.

As for backing up this area of research, it isn’t actually the first time science has dabbled in the questions of time, space and human Extra-Sensory Perception (ESP). A TED talk which was dropped by the organisation talks about the phenomenon of remote viewing.

Physicist Russel Targ discusses his work with the US Intelligence organisations and the training he did with their staff on remote viewing of inaccessible or unknown sites. Some of the descriptions of sites were incredibly accurate and it could be used to track down where wanted criminals were located at that time, or even where they were going to be and when.

One remotely viewed site was described quite inaccurately, which seemed to prove at the time that it wasn’t a science at all. However, when archival records of the site were brought up, the subject doing the viewing exercise had accurately described the site as it had been 75 years ago.

These two areas of research have managed to stumble upon an innate human ability which most of us don’t use or even know that we have. Our physical bodies are subject to rules in line with the physical world, but our spiritual bodies are not. What would you like to do with this ability?

What are Negative Entities?

Negative entities are spiritual parasites who feed off living energy because they don’t have access to Source.

“Oh, well, I guess that explains everything” I hear you say. Don’t worry, I am going to delve further into the lore and how you can get rid of them.

First of all; what is Source?

Source is the divine energy we all have within us which is not only our soul-bodies but is also connected to all other spirit in the universe. Some people think that we recharge by borrowing or stealing other people’s energy but if a human being is in touch with their core, they don’t need to do that.

We can energetically recharge during sleep, meditation, going for a walk, sitting under a tree, listening to peaceful music etc. Recharging actually needs to be a solo activity in order to truly access the source of divine energy at the core of our being.

Human beings can become cut off from this source by denying their true selves and rejecting their inner being. You’ll find that narcissists and sociopaths fall into this category and it isn’t because they’re evil people, it is because the way back to their core being is littered with a minefield of shame and pain and they can’t face it. In order to survive mentally, they have resorted to stealing other people’s inner light.

The funny thing is, empaths freely give out this inner light and often volunteer to share it with narcissists, the narcissists don’t understand unconditional love because they don’t experience it for themselves. They don’t believe it’s real and they don’t believe it’s genuine.

In a similar fashion to a narcissist, negative entities have no access to Source. For whatever reason, they have been cut off from it. If you’re Christian, you may liken this to the damned souls of demons who have been rejected by God. However, God/ess or Source does not reject anyone. Beings of free will have the power to reject Source, but not the other way around.

Usually the reason why someone or something has cut themselves off is because they have done things which they cannot take responsibility for. Things which are so bad that if they had to face them, it would feel like being destroyed. However, this is the only path back to your own source; through accountability of your actions and acceptance of who you are, good or bad.

Evil doesn’t happen because “God or the Devil made us”. Evil happens because we rejected love and we rejected Source and we rejected our own inner child. If you turn away from your own inner truth out of fear, then you live a shell of a life riddled with fear.

This is what the negative entity exists with. I don’t want to say “live” because they aren’t living in any sense of the word.

Other spirit beings are part of the Source and seek to help us if we listen to their wisdom, but we can’t do that if we’re riddled with fear.

If you’re fearful, negative entities will come to feed from that energy because they don’t like being in the same space as love, joy, or peace. If there is a negative entity around, they will cause chaos and incite anger, fear and jealousy. Once you have generated these emotional energies, they feed from it.

The only way to rid yourself of dark entities is to start accessing Source within yourself. Start with something achievable like listening to happy, positive music and watching comedy. Stop putting unhappy thoughts in your own head with music and movies which make you sad, or fearful or angry. I’m not saying these can’t be enjoyed at other times, but not while you’re battling inner and outer demons.

The second step is to clean and organize your personal space. You don’t need to use sage or smudging sticks to smoke your house out, cleansing is far more practical than that. True cleansing of a space is literally cleaning it as well as changing the energy of the space at the same time.

The other important factor is to claim the space as your own. You’ll often find with negative entities that you start living in a fearful way; you don’t go into certain rooms, or perhaps avoid them; you don’t make too much noise; you might even make yourself physically smaller by hunching over or only using one or two chairs to sit in.

Only cleanse during daylight hours. To cleanse, you first need to put on some cheerful music. Make a playlist and then let it run as loudly as you can without pissing-off the neighbors. You want to fill your home with sound. Sing with the music. You might not think you have a good voice, but that’s irrelevant. It isn’t a test or performance, you’re exerting your presence and claiming your space and you’re doing it out loud.

Once you have this going, open up all curtains and windows. Let in light and let in fresh air.

Now, clean your home. Vacuum, sweep, dust, wash, scrub, cleanse. Do it as thoroughly as you can. Pull the house apart, sort everything into it’s own place and claim your frickin space back. Think of the dark, negative entity as a cockroach infestation and you’re getting them out.

Once you have done a thorough clean of the space, maintain it on a weekly basis and try not to let it become messy or chaotic. Some disorder is fine, too much is mentally draining.

In between cleanses, practice self-care. It isn’t just the space which needs claiming and nurturing. Your body is your soul’s earthly home and as such should be treated with care and respect.

Treat yourself to a massage, or have a nice bubble-bath (that goes for men too). Take walks out in nature, get plenty of sunlight, eat good food and most importantly; laugh. You need to laugh and to do it loudly and often. Laughter and joy lift your energy and can stave off a number of ailments. It’s both mentally and physically necessary.

Surround yourself with people who lift you up rather than tear you down. If you don’t have a good balance of this, you need to change it, even if that means being alone a lot more. You’re better off having a few positive encounters than having frequent negative encounters with others.

If you need to, try either joining a church or a charity organisation and getting a sense of community. Giving back is sometimes our own best therapy.

If you feel like all of this is beyond your capabilities, seek counselling or energy healing. Don’t forget that it is OK to reach out for help.

All the best. Peace /|\
